Privacy Policy

SwapWhen does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Information you create

SwapWhen stores the information you enter, such as item names, replacement schedules, locations, notes, product references, quantities, and replacement history. This information is used only to provide the app’s features.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on your device. If iCloud is available for SwapWhen, Apple’s CloudKit service may sync it through your private iCloud database so it can appear on your other devices. The developer does not have access to your private CloudKit records.

Notifications and widgets

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. Widget data is stored in an Apple App Group shared only by SwapWhen and its widget extension. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. SwapWhen receives entitlement information needed to unlock purchased features but does not receive your payment card details. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Exports and backups

When you create a JSON backup or CSV export, the file is created locally and shared only through the destination you choose in Apple’s share sheet. Local automatic backups remain in the app’s storage and are removed if the app is deleted unless you save a copy elsewhere.

Data collection and sharing

SwapWhen does not collect personal data on developer-operated servers and does not sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK.

Retention and deletion

You control your data. You can delete individual items or use Delete All Data in Settings. Deletions may sync to your other devices through iCloud. You can also manage iCloud data through Apple’s system settings.

Children

SwapWhen is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app’s behavior or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are published.
