Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the SwapWhen application and website. By using SwapWhen, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.
The service
SwapWhen helps you organize recurring replacement and maintenance schedules. It provides planning information and reminders; it does not perform maintenance and is not a safety monitoring or emergency service.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the schedules and information you enter, for verifying manufacturer instructions, and for completing maintenance safely. Do not rely on SwapWhen as the sole reminder for safety-critical, medical, legal, or regulatory obligations.
Free and paid features
The free version supports up to three active items. SwapWhen Unlimited is a non-consumable, one-time in-app purchase that unlocks features described on the purchase screen. Prices and taxes are shown by Apple before purchase and may vary by storefront.
Purchases, refunds, and restoration
Payments are processed by Apple under the terms associated with your Apple Account. Refund requests are handled by Apple. Eligible purchases can be restored using Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account.
Your content
You retain ownership of the information you enter. You grant SwapWhen only the limited permission needed to store, process, display, back up, and sync that information on your devices through the app’s features.
Availability and changes
The app may change, gain, or lose features over time. Sync, notifications, widgets, and purchases may depend on Apple services, connectivity, device settings, and operating-system support. Continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwapWhen is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, SwapWhen. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. Access may be restricted if you misuse the service, attempt to interfere with it, or violate applicable law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. The effective date will be updated when revised terms are published.
